  • The evening (11/12/25) we spent at the Coronet will go down as one of my very most favorite dining experiences -- and at age 59, I've had a few. I was with my husband (who was celebrating his 60th) and my stepson. First, we were greeted nicely by everyone when we walked in and with smiles along the way. We were seated outside in the courtyard, which was so pleasantly lit and accented with the sound of live musicians. If it hadn't been such a beautiful night, we'd have happily sat in the cozy interior. Our server, Sarah, was delightful, attentive and knowledgeable throughout. We started with well crafted cocktails, followed by the Oaxacan White Mole, followed by cavatelli, the half hen and a braised short rib dish, and, finally, the tres leches cake. All of them were fab. Sarah chose wines for us to pair with our courses and nailed it. The whole experience was a perfect combination of perfect service, food and atmosphere. The next time I visit Tucson, I will be certain to visit The Coronet at least once!

  • *A favorite outdoor coffee/breakfast spot - I’ve only visited the cafe, not the restaurant* This little cafe is one of my favorite spots to sit outside with a friend for a breakfast treat. Really the outdoor seating is the highlight here. I love sitting under the shade of the old olive tree and it’s so refreshing when they turn on the misters. It’s also a treat to see the quality locally made goods they curate for sale. It’s very thoughtfully picked and they have exquisite taste that doesn’t feel at all intrusive. The location is also perfect for grabbing a refreshing drink, then walking around the historic neighborhood to see the shops and art galleries. It’s a wonderful way to spend a chill day walking around Tucson. The food is decent with high-quality ingredients, but not memorable (I possibly have higher standards coming from Portland). In my opinion, it’s highly priced for the quantity and quality of what they deliver, so, while I appreciate the space, I’ve chosen not to order meals here anymore and stick to just coffee and a breakfast sandwich if it’s available. Their baked goods always look delicious, but all three times I’ve tried them, they’ve been dry and disappointing. Overall, I still love this little place for the atmosphere and find it to be one of the most enjoyable cafes to sit outside with a friend. I do wish the prices were more reasonable and the food/baked goods were good enough to keep me dreaming of my next visit.

  • What a delightful way to end our stay in Tucson. The welcoming entrance made us feel like we were in for something special. The main area has lots of wood with a well-stocked bar on the right. However, the outside patio is very light and airy, with an archway with live plants. Don't be intimated by the names of the foods on the menu. That is their signature and a way for their knowledgeable staff to interact with you. The food is excellent and beautifully served.

  • They have a beautiful patio to enjoy. There is a small room with tables, and I did notice a building across from the main one where you stand in line to order. Sorry, I didn’t realize at the time it is a dining room. Granola is tasty and the latte is also very good. We also had a waffle with berries that was devoured! The service folks were accommodating and friendly. We would return.

  • Amazing experience from beginning to end. We ordered six dishes, and none of them were a miss. I think you probably can't go wrong with anything here. I am excited to keep an eye on their changing menu and visit again in the future.

  • One of the first restaurants I visited during an extended stay in the Tucson area. Coronet offers a upscale, but relaxed dining environment (looks like the patio is a great option in the cooler months as well). Great cocktail program. The food was all excellent, we had the Shrimp Panisse and Oaxacan White Mole, both were great dishes representing the Southwestern dining cuisine. The Oaxacan White Mole stood out for the mole sauce that accented the mushrooms, great dish! The NY Strip and Seared Salmon were both excellent entrees. The Pot du Creme was a fantastic way to finish the meal. Nightjar is a great spot to grab a drink with friends with a creative cocktail program.

  • Sarah was our person and she was great. The food was so damn good. My Old Fashioned was delicious. Very cool interior.

  • After a long day, coming here for brunch, the next morning was the best choice my friends and I ever made. The food was delicious and the staff was extremely nice and pleasant to be around. The patio is quaint small and very peaceful. We had a very good time and hope to come again in the future.
